If you enjoy prancing around in the nude or are a sexy geeky type with spelling skills that makes the dictionary blush with jealousy, then read the following attentively because here are two goodies you will not want to miss out on.

First off, this Saturday, Billy Mavreas hosts the Honeysuckle Strip Spelling Bee. Contestants will put their spelling skills to the ultimate test, where they will either go home with $50 or have to exit the stage in the buff to go collect their free drink. For each misspelled word, they will have to remove an item of clothing. Once in their birthday suit, they are out of the competition. Sign up is at 10:30 sharp and get there early because there is a 25 spellers cap. For $6, that’s one vocabulary lesson that is in no school curriculum.

Saturday March 21rst | Mainline Theatre (3997 St-Laurent Blvd.) | $6 at the door

Two weeks later, it’s at the Eastern Bloc that people will be taking off their clothes. Gaylord-O-Rama Strip-O-Ganzah is a queer strip show fundraiser for the Ste-Emilie Skillshare. On the menu: lap dances, photo booth, peep show, dirty tricks and treats and of course, a dance party! Want to participate? The team is searching for performers with diverse body-types and self-identities, with no experience required, who want to take a turn taking off their clothes. They’re also looking for volunteers, smutty films, lap dancers, art and project/installations. Get in touch at gaylordoramastripoganza@gmail.com

Saturday April 4th | Eastern Block (7240 Clark) | no clothing required
