PR[IM]CA Catalogue Launch Party and Screening at Laïka on September 3rd31 août | Par Marie DarsignyTags : Tel que vu dans l'infocourriel, DJs, Art It’s usually a well known fact that Concordia University is famous for the degrees they offer in Fine Arts. But it doesn’t mean that students of the Intermedia/Cyberarts major are only good at robotic art. Officially founded in 2004, the IMCA major is an amalgamation of three earlier Undergraduate Fine Arts programs: Interdisciplinary Studies, Video History and Production, and Electronic Arts. It is a new media major focused within the interdisciplinary artistic domains of video, robotic art, electronics, performance, sound art and immersive environments, with the present exhibition bringing together the graduating projects of students within their final year of the three year program of study. So if you want to know more, come out to Laika on September 3rd and enjoy a few drinks while listening to music from DJs Coldfeet and SlimJim. Many young artists will be featured, as well as a performance art piece by Sarah Bronsard, and some selected video works. Laika | 4040, Saint-Laurent Partager cet article
